Wet Felting Demo Night

~~Time and Date TBD, so sign up for our emails!

Join me for a demonstration of wet felting techniques at the St. Louis Artists’ Guild. As opposed to “dry” or “needle” felting, wet felting is a technique that uses the motion of your own hands (plus some textured surfaces) to cause the felting action of the wool— that is, the tendency of the fibers to tangle together. This gives you a softer, fuzzier texture on the finished surface than needle felting, which can become very hard-packed due to the action of the needle.

Wet felting is what it sounds like, so show up in clothes that could get a little splashy. Materials will be provided with price of entry. And of course I would like to extend my thanks to the Artists’ Guild for the opportunity! Be sure to look up their other classes, because they have an exciting summer and fall lineup already, and space is limited!
